    Dear NHS Commissioning Board,

I am pleased to be invited for this BOARD MEETING even though I am still an applicant. INCLUSION of people is vital , one voice no matter how big or small counts and it does matter a lot. I will go through the papers. Due to inadequate time and distance to travel for that day I may not be present however, i have read that your next meeting will be on APRIL 13, 2012 .
This gives myself adequate notice to sort out my duty schedules which I am very much happy to take part and be there with you. All the best and good luck.

    Yours truly,

    Rodalyn Emperado

Shame the live streaming didnt appear to work.. well at least not in my CCGs offices? was it technical problems or issue local to us and our NHS IT security arrangements do you know?

    • Sarah Pudney@NHS CBA says:

Hi Richard (and Sara above). Thanks for letting us know about your problems seeing the live streaming. It worked in our office and in testing, so it may be an issue with your browser version or flash player or, as you suggest, your security settings may not have allowed you to access the streaming site.

If you would like to watch the meeting we will shortly be uploading recordings of the whole meeting, and then in the next couple of days we’ll make separate recordings of each agenda item available on this page. Please let us know if you still have trouble seeing these.

May I make a suggestion I know there willbe a cost implication in doing this and you are encouraged to keep costs down. However, can you consider moving the location of Board meetings around. If you have six meetings a year is there a reason why you cannot have some in different parts of the country to allow people to be physically present who would not otherwise be able to attend.

    • bjohnson says:

Hi Michael, the NHS Commissioning Board Authority plans to hold future Board meetings in different parts of the country as you suggest. When details of these locations have been finalised we’ll publish them on the website.

Do you have a Facebook fan page for your site?

    • bjohnson says:

Hi Ron, the NHS Commissioning Board Authority doesn’t currently have Facebook page. However, as the NHS Commissioning Board becomes established, we’ll be using multiple channels to engage with our various stakeholders, including social media as appropriate. In the meantime, you may like to receive news updates from our website by entering your email address and hitting “subscribe” on the right hand side of the page.
